At the heart of the Navy Seabee Foundation mission is a promise: we’re dedicated to the well-being of the Seabee/CEC Community—and their families. This support spans generations and takes shape in meaningful, tangible ways. From welcoming battalions home with pride to helping to provide an education through scholarships, here’s how we stand beside the Seabee/CEC Community
The Navy Seabee Foundation provides grants to each deployed battalion to plan homeport activities. To learn more about how we support Battalion Homeport Celebrations, contact us.
The Navy Seabee Foundation awards scholarships to children and grandchildren of Seabees, CEC Officers and others who served with Naval Construction Force. These can be used for 2-year, 4-year or Career and Technical schools.
The Navy Seabee Foundation supports the two All Seabee Reunions to help provide opportunities for Seabees of all eras to gather.
The Navy Seabee Foundation provides annual grants to Battalion Family Readiness Groups (FRG’s) These can be used for send-offs, over the hump parties, Christmas parties or other activities planned by the FRG.
The Navy Seabee Foundation maintains the “Can Do Career Connection” on our website to connect former Seabees and CEC Officers with jobs that seek the Seabee Can Do skillset. It’s a free service to job seekers and the job poster.
The Navy Seabee Foundation presents annual awards to active duty Seabees, companies that support the Foundation, individual donors and a Distinguished Scholar.
The Navy Seabee Foundation supports the annual SAME Navy Stem Camp held at Poet Hueneme. Students engage in hands-on engineering activities under the mentorship and supervision of SAME professionals, base commands, and other volunteers from the local engineering community. Campers live, eat, and complete activities as squads with support from uniformed service members and STEM-related working professionals.
The Navy Seabee Foundation helps recognize Seabees on their 100th birthday with certificates and birthday cards. We also recognize them in our newsletter and on social media. To tell us about a Seabee turning 100, send us a note.
