NMCB 23 Scholarship
Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 23 is a reserve Seabee battalion composed of officers and men from Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The NMCB 23 scholarship was funded by members of the battalion in 1979 when the Perpetual Named Scholarship amount was $7,000. The battalion was decommissioned in 2013. Starting in 2014, current and former members worked together to raise the amount to the current Named Scholarship amount.

Endowed Scholarships allow our investors to build a lasting legacy, impacting Seabee children and grandchildren for generations to come. Endowed Scholarships often honor or memorialize family members, Seabee leaders, NAVFAC units, organizations or corporations. Perpetual Named scholarships can be funded at three levels, $60,000, $120,000 and $150,000 and are named by the donor.
