CCM Roy E. Schaeffer, SVA 136th NCB Memorial (NSVA #12)

Established in December 1995 by Roy E. Schaeffer who served as a Chief Carpenter’s Mate with the 136th Construction Battalion in World War II in Hawaii , Guam, and Japan. Chief Schaeffer died in 2008. He was also a member of SV A. Island X-8 in Lee County, FL.
