Position Summary
We are seeking a FORTIFIED Documentation Specialist to process and submit certification files through the IBHS Focus portal. This is a remote, independent contractor (1099) role. You’ll be responsible for reviewing photo documentation, organizing it by roofing phase, preparing forms for digital signature, and submitting the completed package for FORTIFIED certification.

Work is performance-based — the faster and more accurately you complete files, the more you earn. Full training on the FORTIFIED process will be provided.

Responsibilities
Retrieve client and project details from FieldPulse (CRM).

Review photo documentation in CompanyCam to verify roof installation steps.

Upload accurate, qualifying photos into IBHS Focus according to program requirements.

Use SignEasy to generate digital signature forms for contractors or roofers; upload signed forms back into Focus.

Verify completeness and compliance of every submission before final upload.

Communicate with team members to resolve missing or unclear documentation.

Maintain a consistent workflow and meet submission deadlines.

Compensation
Paid per completed and approved file. Additional incentives available for accuracy, consistency, and turnaround performance.

Requirements
Roofing/Construction Knowledge: Must understand basic roofing components — decking, underlayment, fasteners, flashing, drip edge, etc.

Attention to Detail: Every photo and document must meet IBHS FORTIFIED standards.

Computer & Internet Access: Must use your own computer with reliable high-speed internet.

Tech Comfort: Able to work confidently in FieldPulse, CompanyCam, SignEasy, and IBHS Focus.

Self-Discipline: This is remote, independent work. You manage your time, pace, and output.

Clear Communication: Professional written and digital communication with roofers, staff, and homeowners.

Confidentiality: Handle all client information securely and professionally.

Accountability: Files must be completed cradle-to-grave — setup to submission — without shortcuts.

Availability: Able to process multiple files per week; turnaround speed affects pay rate.
