Seabee Memorial Park – Port Hueneme, CA

Located aboard Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Port Hueneme, at the corner of 23rd Avenue and Harris Street, Seabee Memorial Park honors the proud legacy of the U.S. Navy Seabees and Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officers.

The park features static displays of historic construction equipment representing the tools of the Seabees’ trade, alongside solemn Memorial Walls bearing the names of those who gave their lives in service.

The memorial plaques commemorate:

• World War II (1941-1945): Honoring CEC officers and Seabees who died in combat during WWII in defense of freedom and the American way of life.
• Vietnam War (1964-1975): Remembering those who faithfully served and gave their lives during the Vietnam War.
• Terrorist Actions: In memory of those killed in terrorist attacks while faithfully serving their country.

Each name etched on these walls reflects the ultimate sacrifice made in service to country — a lasting tribute to the Seabees’ motto: “Can Do.”
