Harris Street Marker, NBVC Port Hueneme, Ca

A small marker can be found on the corner of Harris Street and 23rd Avenue on board Naval Base Ventura County )NBVC) Port Hueneme. It honors GM2c L.S. Harris of 40 NCB who lost his life on 4 March 1944 in Los Negros during the Admiralty Islands Campaign of WWII. Harris Street is named in his honor.
