Marv Mollner
June 9, 1943 – October 2, 2024
Marvin Andrew Mollner was born June 9, 1943, in Norfolk, NE. A 29 year honorably retired Senior Chief with the U.S. Navy Seabees, he was a Navy Commendation and Navy Achievement Medal Recipient. Marv retired with the Metropolitan Utilities District after 42 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of 60 years; sons, Steve (Silvia) of Carlsbad, CA, Dave (JoAnn) of Newnan, GA, and daughter Kris (Dennis) of Omaha, NE; six beautiful grandchildren, Jordan, Alex, Maci, Mya, Luke, and Jenna; and three great-grandchildren, Emerich, Marlowe, and Lennon; brother, Jim Mollner; and sister, Ruth Piatt. He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane Kroll. Marv was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and patriot who enjoyed life to its fullest and spending time with family, friends and his colleagues of American Legion Post 331 honor guard. An avid street rod and car enthusiast, as long as it had a Chevrolet powertrain under the hood. He will be missed by many, and was loved by all.
VISITATION: Sunday, October 6, 3 to 5 p.m., with FUNERAL SERVICE at 5 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest. BURIAL: Tuesday, October 8 at 10 a.m. at Omaha National Cemetery.
