Final Salute

Steven Harrison Bedwell will be deeply missed.

Steve served in both the Marine Corps from 1979 to 1983 and the Navy from 1987 to 1991. He leaves behind two daughters, Tiffany Bedwell of San Francisco and Stephanie Bedwell of New York, His sisters Iva Nelson, Angela Falk and Sara Sharp of Washington; and his brother David Bedwell of Anderson.

Steve will join his brother Jeff Bedwell and father Julius Bedwell at the Igo veterans cemetery where services will be held.

Steve’s life was filled with love, laughter and light; that is until his PTSD took him from us. Steve battled the VA for benefits and care from 1991 to present. His struggle with PTSD took on many forms. As Steve struggled for peace and calm, his life turn to despair and pain. Steve longed for the day all the pain and suffering would end. That day has come. Until Valhalla brother, you will be heavily missed by all who knew you.
