Final Salute

Kevin James Sullivan, age 68, passed away on July 29, 2022. He was a long time resident of Gulfport, MS, since relocating from Wakefield, MA.

Kevin was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years Ethel Louise Sullivan; his parents, Donald and Loretta Sullivan; and his son Benny Roy.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Joanna Lopez of Gulfport; granddaughter Misty Cuevas, of Gulfport; siblings, Donald and his wife Phyllis Sullivan, Ellen and her husband Marty Stark, Kathryn Sullivan; and an extended family of nieces and nephews. In addition to the immediate family he has savored his long term friendship of Curt Nissen and Mary Long.

He was extremely grateful for the constant care of Dr. Allison Wall, Brittany Hicks NP and those of the Gulfport medical community.

Kevin served 27 years in the United States Navy Seabee’s and the reserves.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., and prayer services starting at 1:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Interment with military honors will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 11th 2022 at 1:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery.
