Final Salute

Mark Cummings, 75, passed away at home on February 18, 2023 in Hot Springs, AR. He was born May 17, 1947 in Manchester Center VT to Martin Cummings and Louise Silvius.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 44 years, Glendia Cummings.
He is survived by his daughter Sonja Cummings and grandson Israel Cummings of Hot Springs. He also leaves behind siblings in Arkansas and New York to mourn his passing. A special thanks is extended by the family to Larry Vaughn for being a faithful friend.
Mark proudly served his country in both the US Navy and the US Army. He served in the SeaBees from 1968 to 1972. Mark then joined the Army Reserve and retired as a Staff Sergeant (E6) in May of 2007.
Mark was a life-long hunter and he loved being in the woods especially in the fall. He enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife and they made many trips around the country together before her passing in 2022.
A memorial visitation for family and friends is scheduled at 2:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2023 at Caruth Village Funeral Home.
