James R. Willhelm, of Pensacola, Florida, 82 years old, passed away on September 13, 2021
at West Florida Hospital with family by his side. He was born on December 5, 1938, in Galion, Ohio.
James graduated from GalionHigh School in 1956 and immediately joined the Navy where he served honorably for 20 years, retiring as a Senior Chief and settling in his new home state.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elsie Willhelm
Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia; daughter, Aimee;
granddaughter, Sarah (Logan); and last but not least is his faithful companion,
Charlie, the wonder dog!
Jim’s favorite vacation place was Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire where he loved to be out on his boat enjoying water activities with family and friends. Jim
also enjoyed playing card games, especially poker on Saturday Nights with his buddies and was an avid bowler who toured Europe.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim’s name to the National Kidney
Foundation or to your local Humane Society or Shelter.
