Final Salute

Age 94 of Lino Lakes, formerly of Shoreview, died on January 1, 2023 surrounded by family.
Survived by wife of 72 years, Martha; children, Debra Husby, Denise Babcock and Bruce Husby (Connie); 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Strand and Signe Rice; and many nieces and nephews.
Erling is a WWII veteran who served within the Navy Seabees. He is of second-generation Norwegian descent and was very proud of his heritage.
Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday, January 5th at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL FUNERAL HOME; 515 W. Hwy 96, Shoreview.
Funeral service Friday, January 6th at 2 PM (visitation 1-2 PM) at INCARNATION LUTHERAN CHURCH; 4880 Hodgson Rd, Shoreview.
Interment Incarnation Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Incarnation Lutheran Church, Norway House Minneapolis or Donor’s choice.
