Rev. James “Jimmy” O. Waldrop Obituary

James “Jimmy” Waldrop, 75, passed away March 17, 2013 at his residence.
He was a retired minister and member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lillian Waldrop, brother, Richard Waldrop. Mr. Waldrop is a veteran of US Navy in the Seabee Division.

He is survived by wife, Jewell Abbott Waldrop of Harpersville; son Randy (Tammy) Waldrop of Harpersville; daughters, Sharon Hardwick of Harpersville, Jeanie Waldrop (Jamie Walker) of Gulf Shores, brothers, Vernon Waldrop and T. J. Waldrop both of Wilsonville; sister, Janet Smith of Birmingham; grandchildren, Rebekah Waldrop, Candice Hardwick, Brandy Hardwick, Brittany Payne, Brandon Payne.

Visitation is Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Providence Baptist Church in Harpersville from 6-8 pm.

Funeral service for James O. “Jimmy” Waldrop, 75, will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Providence Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with the Rev. William Rayfield, Rev. David Williams, Rev. Zane Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Harpersville Cemetery.
