Final Salute

Jeffrey L. Pope, 75, of Huntley, IL, passed away on May 31, 2023.
He was born on July 31, 1947 in Moline, IL; the son of Fred Pope and Barbara (Sipes) Pope Hawkins. Jeffrey was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He worked at General Dynamics Land Systems.
He married Barbara Dobrzynski in Detroit, MI on Oct. 11, 1969 until her passing in 2006. They had one daughter, Jennifer. He married Nancy Clark Storms on Sept. 18, 2011, in Huntley, IL.
He is survived by wife, Nancy; daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Jenkins; stepsons, Scott (April) Storms, and Mark (Jennifer) Storms; grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, Kate, and Ben Jenkins, Trevor, Brenden, Kate, and Jack Storms; sisters, JoAnn Woolwine, and Mary Jane (Tony) Ritch; and niece, Shauna Clark.
Services will be on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the First Congregational Church, 11628 E. Main St. in Huntley.
Visitation is at the church 10 am until the funeral at 11. A luncheon will follow from 12-2 pm at the Huntley American Legion.
Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp., Michigan
