Myron D. Waterman Obituary
Myron D. Waterman of Amarillo, TX, formerly of Hawarden, passed away to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the V.A. hospital. He was surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister and sister in-law.
Myron was born to Elmer and Ann Jacobs on Aug. 30, 1946. Ann later remarried to Marvin Waterman and together raised 13 children; Myron, Marlo, Rick, Steve, John, Rocky, Stuart, Marty, Jenyce, Connie, Val, Jane and Annie.
Myron was in the service for three years serving in the United States Navy as a Seabee.
He married Virginia Johnson on Oct. 8, 1966. They were married 53 years. They have four children, Matt and his son, Giovanni, of Gilbert, AZ; Chris and his daughter, Ada, of Hawarden; Aaron and his son, Daxton, and daughter, Kinsley, of Amarillo, TX; Nicole (Robbie) Harriss and their son, Colten, and daughters, Grace and Trinity, of Colorado Springs, CO.
Myron worked as a mason for several years, having done numerous basements, sidewalks, driveways, etc. around the Hawarden community. He later worked for Buccola Masonry in Amarillo, TX
During his spare time, he enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, watching NASCAR and football and spending time with his grandchildren. Maybe even enjoyed catching a show on SciFi or working on “projects,” which there were many.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Survivors include his wife, children, grandchildren, many brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces.
Preceding him in death are his parents and brothers Marlo and Stuart.
An interment service with a celebration of life will follow at a later date.
