Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
Patrice Danielle Lang-Jordan “Danielle” entered this earth on January 28, 1979, by Linda Brown Lang and retired Master Sgt. Richard Earl Lang, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida at the Eglin Air Force Base.
Danielle spent her early childhood years as a military brat. She lived in Japan, New Mexico,
Alabama, and England. Danielle was one of many talents. She played softball in England where her mother, Linda, was her coach. She also took dance, tap, and jazz along with her sister, Paula. Danielle attended high school for a short while in Alabama at LeRoy High School, then Pascagoula High School, before graduating with the class of 1996 at Harrison Central High School, where she was a part of the marching band. Danielle played the alto saxophone and french horn. She passed her musical abilities to both of her nieces, Kiara and Char-Nay, as well as her son, Johnathon, who each also attended Harrison Central’s band, carrying out her legacy. After high school, she attended college at the University of South Alabama before graduating from Bishop State Community College as an LPN alongside of her big sister, Chandra “Paula,” in 2003. After working as a nurse at the Woodland Village, Driftwood, and Boyington Nursing Homes, Danielle then joined the Navy as a Seabee for two years before being honorably discharged due to medical reasons. Once discharged, Danielle became a stay-at-home mother and began to live her dream by having a catering business called “Homemade Happiness” with her niece, Des’ree, as her assistant cook. Patrice, or “Danielle” as we knew her, was a God-loving woman. She attended Rescue Mission Baptist Church where she was also a part of the youth community as a Vacation Bible School teacher. Danielle loved children and treated each as her own. To know Danielle was to have loved her.
Patrice was called home on December 30, 2021; she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Peggy and Ike Brown and Charlie and Arquilla Lang, a brother, Sgt. Ron Robinson, as well as six aunts and four uncles.
Danielle is survived by her parents, Linda and Richard Lang; big sister, Chandra (Derryl) Lang-Hayes; nieces, Kiara Danielle Lang-Brooks, Des’ree Lashawn Knight, Char-Nay Denise Knight, and Dawana “Shay Shay” Bradley; son, Johnathon(Alexia) Jordan; granddaughter, U’Lanni Danielle Jordan; nephews, Derryl Hayes, Jr., Kellon Hayes, and Quantavius J.
