William Louis Rosevally, Jr., at the age of 100, entered eternal rest peacefully on Monday morning, April 3, 2023, at his family home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 3, 1923, to William Louis Rosevally, Sr. and Pauline DeGruy Rosevally.

He is survived by his loving wife Frances Macaluso Rosevally of 78 years, his children Mary Ann Rosevally Frisard (Earle), Dorothy Rosevally Siverd (Emmett), Charles A. Rosevally (Darlene), Walter R. Rosevally (the late Martha), Diane Rosevally Judice (Frank), George A. Rosevally (Julie), Anthony J. Rosevally (Lisa), and Lisa Rosevally, and his 25 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.

William was preceded in death by his son William Louis Rosevally, III, his parents William and Pauline Rosevally, his siblings Dorothy Rosevally Carroll, Imelda Rosevally Angelo, Evelyn Rosevally Breslin, George Rosevally, and Audrey Rosevally Donnaud.

A native of New Orleans, and proud resident of Covington for over 28 years, William proudly joined the United States Navy and served his country in World War II. After being honorably discharged William began his professional career as a General Contractor in the Construction industry until he retired in 1988. He was devoted to his family and to his Catholic faith. He was a parishioner of Incarnate Word in New Orleans and St. Peter Catholic Church of Covington. He was a member of VFW Post 8012, American Legion Post 16, and Knights of Columbus.

William was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time outdoors as he coached at Incarnate Word CYO, NORD, Cuccia Brynes, and Carrollton playgrounds. He had a lasting impact on many young people who still remember him fondly. He was well known by fellow coaches from other playgrounds. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family and friends. William was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

The Rosevally family expresses their deepest gratitude to Community Hospice and Pelican Health Care who were provided by the VA, and especially Tammy Ducote for her loving, tender, care of our father.
