Final Salute

HOFFMEYER William G., Passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, age 92. Bill was born April 11, 1933 in River Falls, WI and graduated from River Falls High School in 1951. He served his country proudly as a Navy Seabee. He married Jean Heitman in 1955. He worked for Swifts and Coca Cola. He is preceded in death by wife, Jean; parents, George and Ethel; siblings, Franklin Hoffmeyer, Edith Faris, Evelyn Paul, and Paul Hoffmeyer. Survived by sons, William Jr., Steven (Darra Wander), Dennis (Dawn), Jeffrey, James, and Gregory (Jill); 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Services to be held Thursday August 21, 2025 at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 2855 47th E. Inver Grove Heights – 9:30AM visitation, 11AM service, luncheon to follow. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials preferred to: Seabees Veterans of America, c/o Roger Jacobson, 17332 Ipswich Way, Lakeville, MN 55044.
