William C. Trushel
Beaver – William C. Trushel, age 97, of Beaver, on February 20, 2022. Born on September 10, 1924 in West Bridgewater, PA, son of the late Clyde O. and Elizabeth Berbig Trushel. Beloved husband of the late Leona Cook Trushel. Loving father of William C. Trushel II and the late Richard (Diane) Trushel. Brother of Nancy Bender and the late Dorothy Jean Trushel. Dear grandfather of Richard (Laura) Trushel and Dena (Bob) Barker. Also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Friends received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley (Franklin Park/Wexford). Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hill Memorial Park.
A WWII Navy Veteran serving with the renowned Seabees, William worked for many years as a tool & die maker with Westinghouse Corp. He was a longtime member of Park U.P. Church and a 60+ year member of St. James Lodge #457, F.&A.M.
