Mr. Wilbur M. Soder
Wilbur M. Soder, 94, of Lakewood, Colorado, died in his home on Thursday, December 19, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1930, in Marysville, Kansas. He served in the Navy as a Seabee during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sue Marie Soder (nee Udry), his brothers Norman Soder and Marion Soder, and his parents, Frank J. Soder and Lillian Soder (nee Seger).
Wilbur is survived by his son, Scott Soder; his stepdaughters, Christine Renee Monks and Rebecca Smith (nee Monks); his stepson, Michael (Jordan) Monks; grandchildren, Mary (David) Duke, Emily (James Fieman) Monks, Kelli (Noah Taylor) Winkle, Jill Winkle, Matthew (Amanda) Winkle, Angie (Brian) Zielinski, Amy Smith; and six great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Olivia Duke, Hazel Quinn Duke, Madison (Muzaffer) Syed, Grace Zielinski, and Oakley Delancey.
The family plans a memorial service for Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Horan & McConaty facility at 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO.
