Mr. Werner R. Luenser
Werner R. Luenser, 100, was born on December 6, 1922 and passed away on August 27, 2023 in Palos Park.
Visitation will be held on August 31, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. The funeral service will take place on September 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 2519 Grove Street, Blue Island. Burial will follow at Alsip, First Lutheran Cemetery.
Werner attended First Evangelical Lutheran School, Blue Island Community High School, and Illinois Institute of Technology.
He was employed at E.B. Bronson, Formold Plastics, and Ethyl Corporation.
Werner served in the Navy SeaBees (CBMU 545).
