Renshaw – Waco Wade Renshaw, age 54, of Callahan, Florida passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2022. He was born on February 19, 1968, in Jacksonville, Florida to Tony Wade Renshaw and Mindie Claudine Nunez Newton. Waco joined the United States Navy in 1987 and served during Desert Storm and Desert Shield with the Seabees. He considered the other men that he served with in NMCB74 as brothers. Waco loved his country and was extremely proud of his time in the Navy. He had a passion for music. Waco played multiple instruments such as the bass, 6 string, saxophone, drums, and piano. He recently started learning how to play the fiddle and the banjo. Waco loved all genres of music. He was a Mason and a member of Temple Lodge 23. Waco was passionate about his family, music, and his work. He is preceded in death by father; grandparents; Waco and Verdia Lee Nunez, Wade and Dorothy Renshaw; stepfather, Bob Newton.

Waco leaves behind his loving wife, Wendy Renshaw; mother, Claudine Newton; sons, Waco (Baylee) Renshaw, Kanan Renshaw; brother, Clay (Reanna) Renshaw; grandchildren, Jasper Renshaw, Oliver Renshaw; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Pamela) Gordon; numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and friends.

A Celebration of Waco’s Life will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Live Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Sonny Foraker officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. where military honors will be rendered. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home.
