Mr. Victor “Vic” Manuel Rosado Jr.

Victor “Vic” Manuel Rosado, Jr. was born November 29, 1985, in Galloway, New Jersey to Sonia Santiago and Victor Manuel Rosado, Sr. He gained his wings on March 31, 2023.
Victor attended the public schools in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He worked to earn his General Education Degree in 2005. He then studied Psychology in Atlantic Cape Community College for
some time. In September of 2005, Vic enlisted in the United States Navy. In November of that year, he graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Chicago, Illinois as a SeaBee. After completing his stint in the Navy, he received an honorable discharge.
As a child, Victor got his first job on Atlantic City’s famed Steel Pier. He continued to work at Steel Pier through much of his youth and would make many lifelong friends. He most recently worked for Tricare Medical Transportation Company as a driver.
He enjoyed making the community a better place. Victor was an honest man, a loving father, a huge animal lover, and was always the spotlight of the room. He could make anyone laugh no matter the mood. He enjoyed taking his sons, niece, and nephew on a variety of activities. Together they enjoyed playing and watching basketball; going to the movies; swimming, and going out to eat; which Vic really loved.
Victor had a service animal named, Arya, who he would often tell folks that he loved her as if she was his own daughter.
Victor spent a large majority of his time with his mother, Sonia Santiago, who was like his best friend.
He enjoyed watching movies and shows. His musical tastes included Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, plus Hip-Hop artists such as The Lox and Jay-Z just to name a few.
Victor is predeceased by: paternal grandfather, Antonio Rosado; paternal grandmother, Alejandrina Reyes; first cousin, Jeffrey Gonzalez; and best friend, Marcos “Bobby” Ramirez.
Those left to cherish Victor’s memories are: mother, Sonia Santiago (Kaletry); father, Victor Manuel Rosado, Sr.; sister, Veronica Marie Rosado (Malik); Antonio Rosado (Shayna); sons, Vincent Manuel Rosado, Joe’l Victor Rosado, and Armani Zion Santos; and their mother, Samantha Marino; nephew, Malik Makai Tolbert-Rosado; niece, Meliana Marie Tolbert; maternal grandparents, Maria Santiago, and Cecilio Santiago; godmothers, Miriam Santiago (Jorge), and Wanda Lugo; and a host of other family members and close friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where friends may call from 9AM. Interment to follow the Mass in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harding Highway/Route 40, Mays Landing, New Jersey.
