Final Salute

Todd Robert Richter, 54, of Wilmington, NC and formerly of North East, entered the kingdom of heaven on 20 February 2026.

He was born on January 14, 1972 in Erie, PA to the late Robert J. and Sandra Lee Richter.

Todd graduated North East High School and proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seabee.

He was a government contractor for the United States Special Operations Command

Todd’s passion was loving the lord and spreading the good News, Hunting, Fishing and living in GODs country.

He is survived by his sons; Kiyle Todd Richter and Mathew Richter; daughter, Heather Richter; sisters, Carrie Pollard, and Kristy Richter; and grandchildren, Camryn Richter, Chloe Wegemer, Autumn Wegemer, Benson Richter, and Elijah Richter.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Sunday March 1st from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
