Mr. Todd David Jones

Todd David Jones was born December 30th,1965 in Santa Monica, California. After several years battling heart failure, Todd passed away on March 30th, 2025. He was 59 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, David William Jones and He is survived by his mother, Judith Ann Jones Reems – age 80, his Stepfather, Marvin Ray Reems – age 90

Biological brothers: Patrick Michael Jones (57) and Sean Matthew Jones (56)

Three stepbrothers: Mitch Reems (66), Kevin Reems (63) and Randy Reems (62)

And numerous nieces and nephews. We have been the Jones-Reems family for 47 years.

He was loved, adored, and cared for by his loving Girlfriend, Mary Vo, for 11 years.

Todd graduated from high school in 1983 and joined the United States Navy Reserves as a Gunner’s Mate a few months after graduation. He served in the Navy for about 15 years and was a Seabee at the time of his discharge. Starting at a very early age, He was very athletic. He began working-out with weights when he was 8 years old and did it every day of his life until he got sick in 2021, which he then started with physical therapy. He continued to do physical therapy until his passing.

He loved Martial Arts and studied Kung Fu for over 40 years. He became a Kung Fu Master and was inducted into the National Martial Arts Hall of fame in 2017.

He was an avid San Francisco 49ers’ fan and everyone who knew him, knew it!

In the early 1990s he became a General Contractor in Long Beach, California, specializing in custom construction and remodels. He was exceptional at his craft/trade.

Despite his sometimes gruff and tough exterior, he had a huge and giving heart and would literally give the shirt off his back to help those in need.

Most importantly, Todd was a true believer in Jesus Christ. He was saved, sanctified and washed in the precious blood of Jesus. A member of the Body of Christ, the Church. He had a true searching nature and wanted to know God’s Word and gain understanding at all costs. He’s now in the presence of our Lord and Savior in Pure Love.
