Thomas Frank Wade Sr. (Tom) was born Wednesday, December 5, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas. He went to be with the Lord on the first day of Spring, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home of nearly 46 years in Burleson, Texas. He was surrounded by his family while his last wishes to be at home in his recliner were fulfilled.
Tom was a proud US Navy Seabee who served from 1965-1977 including both active duty and reserves.
He served in the Vietnam campaign 1966-67, as an Equipment Operator in Danang, Vietnam. He was honorably discharged earning the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon.
Tom was known as an automotive mechanic. Some of his personal interests included his dogs, golfing, NFL (including Dallas Cowboys), college football, being a proud Seabee, playing his computer matching games, YouTube, but most of all he was a big family man.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Cosby Frank and Bernice Wade, and his sister, Elizabeth Herrell.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Savory) Wade, daughter Stephanie (Wade) Turner, and son Thomas Frank Wade Jr. (wife Jessica). Grandchildren Tristan Turner, Grant Turner, and Emily Wade. He is also survived by his older sisters, Louise Reitan, Linda Corley, and Joyce Pruitt (husband Thornton). He was blessed with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 1pm followed by a potluck reception to until 5pm.

Please Wear: US Navy Seabees, golfing, Dallas Cowboys, NFL, college football, Elvis, prostate cancer support (light blue), casual wear including jeans. Please wear brighter colors for celebration.
