92, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Monday, December 4, 2023. He was the husband of Therese R. (Lefevre) Mallette and the late Barbara Mae (Martin) Mallette. Born in Lucedale, MS, he was a son of the late Thomas L. and Ollie (Tanner) Mallette. Mr. Mallette was the owner and operator of the former Reliable Forms Inc. for over 34 years. He served his country in the US Navy Seabees during the Korean War and has been a Johnston resident since 1955.
In addition to his wife Therese, he was the father of Thomas D. Mallette, Jr. (Candy) of Dewey, AZ, David M. Mallette (Lisa) of Johnston, and Michael J. Mallette (Laura) of Parrish, FL. He was the brother of Lester Mallette, and the late Mamie Stewart, Johnnie Mallette and Lydia Driskell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10-11am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with funeral home service to follow at 11am. Inurnment with Military Honors will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904, will be appreciated.
