Stephen P. Sluka, aged 77, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Valley View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Newton. He was born in Sussex, New Jersey, to his late parents Steve J. and Anna (Ramplith) Sluka. Stephen was raised in Franklin, where he remained a lifelong resident of the area.
He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1966, proudly serving with the Seabees until his honorable discharge in 1970. Stephen held his military service close to his heart and remained deeply proud of his time in uniform throughout his life.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents Steve J. and Anna (Ramplith) Sluka, and his sister Susan Knutelsky. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda A. (Geydoshek) Sluka. He also leaves behind his devoted son, Stephen Sluka (Melissa), and his loving daughter, Diane Kane (James). He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his grandchildren, Benjamin, Cooper, Addison, and Lily.
