Shadrach Wesley Barnett
October 20, 1943 – June 20, 2021
Pass Christian, Mississippi – Shadrach Wesley Barnett, born on October 20, 1943 in Butler, GA. went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 20, 2021. He was 77 years old and a resident of Pass Christian, MS.
Brother Barnett spent his life living for the Lord and teaching the word of God to everyone he knew. It was his passion to teach people about Jesus and the Bible.
He was a Navy Seabee and served his country in the Vietnam War. Through his life he had multiple ministries, he had a jail ministry, he taught at Driftwood Nursing Home since the 1970’s on Sunday mornings, and was very involved with First United Pentecostal Church in Waveland, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Elisha Barnett and Alma Dora Barnett; and his wife of 58 years, Patricia Barnett.
He is survived by his two sons Richard Barnett (Amberley), and Robert Barnett (Shaina); his grandchildren, Dillon, Brooklyn, Bradley, Aidan and Abigail; and his sisters, Mary Thomas and Ammadore Barnett.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, with a visitation from 9:30 AM until the service. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
