Date of passing 06/20/2025

Ron Fisher passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. He was 77. He was born on May 1, 1948, in Lockhaven, Pennsylvania. Ron lived a life devoted to his family. It was marked by creativity, service, and deep devotion to all those around him.
After graduating Lockhaven High School, Ron enlisted in the Navy as a Seabee. Ron proudly served his country as a Navy Seabee for two years. His time in the military reflected the same dedication and work ethic that he carried throughout his life.
After leaving the Navy, Ron chose to visit Oklahoma never expecting to build his family. He went to work at Arco Oil and Gas in Tulsa, where he met and fell in love with a coworker, Debbie, Roberts, who became his wife. They were married March 6, 1981. Debbie brought to this marriage her 2 small boys, Heath and Jimmy who instantly became his sons. Ron and Debbie’s family continued to grow, when next his daughter, Ashley, was born in 1983. He loved his children with his whole heart.
His family settled into life. Ron continued on earning a degree, from Oklahoma State in graphic design, where he was then asked to run the airbrushing department and other art classes.
A man of many talents and interests, Ron passion was found joy in hunting and fishing-activities that connected him with nature and offered peaceful reflection. He was also an accomplished artist who expressed himself through stained glass creations and airbrush painting.
Whether crafting intricate designs or casting a line into still waters, Ron approached each endeavor with patience and care.
February, 2023, Ron found salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ. Ron was a faithful member of Mountain Movers Church, where he lived out his servant’s heart through “acts of service-his love language”. Known for his easy going and happy demeanor, Ron was thoughtful, appreciative, and had a kind nature that made others feel welcome and valued.
A caring husband, father and Poppa, Ron cherished his family. He had a generosity of spirit that has left a lasting impression on them as well as all who knew him.
A devoted fan of Penn State football and Oklahoma State softball, Ron cheered passionately for his teams. These loyalties reflected both his roots in Pennsylvania and the life he built in Oklahoma-a blend of past and present that defined much of who he was.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty; his infant sister, Barbara; and his brother, Daniel.
Left to cherish his memory is Debbie Fisher; his son – Heath Fisher and fiance Teresa and their children, Allison and Garrett; his son – Jimmy Fisher and wife Tara and their children, Emilee and Killian; and his daughter – Ashley and Matt Tipton and their children, Presley, Remi, Dani, and Levi.
