Final Salute

Roger L. Johnson, age 87 of New London, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Gardens of Fountain Way in Menasha.  Roger was born on July 9, 1938 in New London to the late Ilo and Lorraine (Stern) Johnson.  He married Bernice Outcalt on February 5, 1960.  She preceded him in death in 2014.  Roger served his country in the US Navy as a SeaBee from 1956 – 1959.  He was employed at Miller Electric for 35 years.

Roger is survived by his children, Cherie (John) Hampton, Dennis (Janet Peak) Johnson and Peter Frausto and his siblings, Dave (Debbie) Johnson and Dick (Jane) Johnson.  He is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Roger was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Jessica Frausto and sister, Barbara (William) Nelson.

The Memorial Service for Roger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Mark Pozolinski officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be at Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
