Mr. Robert A. Evers
Carpenter, Navy Seabee, lifelong Cranford resident Robert A. Evers passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at RWJ Hospital in Rahway, NJ. He was a lifelong resident of Cranford. Visitation will be Wednesday 7/20 from 11am-12pm at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, to follow. Robert was a graduate of Cranford High School, later joining the Navy as a member of the Seabees. Robert had been a carpenter, being a member of Local 715 in Cranford. He will be remembered for his charitable nature, often giving to various charities. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Michael and Hilma, and his sister June. Surviving are, his loving brother Bernard; and several cousins. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Robert’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
