Final Salute

Richard Tomassacci, 77, of Berwick, died Friday, November 8, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by his family.
Born November 16, 1946 in Berwick, he was the son of the late John and Jeanette C. (Spezialetti) Tomassacci.
A graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1965, he went on to work as an electrician at MGM Studios and Sony Studios.
He was a Navy Seabee veteran, who served two tours in Vietnam.
Mr. Tomassacci was a member of the Culver City Elks #1917 and the Berwick Golf Club.
He loved playing golf, gardening, fixing mechanical/electrical tools and items, watching science fiction shows, and playing cards- especially pinochle.
Richard is survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Lisa Davis; his stepson, Justin Davis; his son, Jon Austin Tomassacci and his wife, Vanessa, of El Segundo, CA; his daughter, Ashlee Marie Tomassacci of Berwick; and his sister, Jean Marie Tomassacci (Sister Michael Jean) of York, PA.
A visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick, with Rev. William T. Barbee officiating as Celebrant.
Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, in honor of Richard M. Tomassacci.
