Dictated by Richard Hass on Nov. 26, 2017: Richard was born in the middle of a family of six girls and six boys, all of which have predeceased him. Raised in the Canby-Aurora area, he later settled in the city of Milwaukie. He was honorably discharged from the Navy Seabees, after serving 1944 and 1945 in the Pacific.
In 2002, after 52 years, as principal of Smith Brothers Office Outfitters, he retired.
At his request there will be no service.
