Patrick H. Deehan, 80, of Lincoln, R.I., passed away on Sept. 10, 2025.
Pat is traveling to a new garden! Born in Brockton, Mass., on Feb. 26, 1945, to Francis F. Deehan and Alice L. McCarthy Deehan, also a foster son to Raymond and Rosa LaBelle and Donald and Jeanette Kelleher. He was the husband to his loving wife of 100 years, Diane (Hermiz) Deehan.
He is survived by his son Sean P. Deehan; grandson, Austin Tyler Deehan; two brothers Kevin Kelleher and his wife, Donna, Kerry S. Kelleher and his wife, Shelley; sister, Kim Kelleher, and her husband, Ralph, and many nieces and nephews.
Pat graduated from the Class of 1964 at Brockton High School and later from Stockbridge School of Agriculture Class of 1971 and at UMass Amherst with a degree in turf management.
Patrick proudly served his country with the U.S Navy Seabee MCB7 as a heavy equipment operator during the Vietnam War. He worked in the golf course business as a Superintendent of Greens at Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley, Mass., and at Lincoln Country Club in Lincoln, R.I. Pat was also employed by A.T. Cross Pen Company as ground superintendent for 26 years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m., with a funeral home service starting at 2:30 p.m. in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Immediately following the service, there will be Military Honors in the funeral home parking lot under the car port. Burial is private.
