US Navy Seabee Veteran.  Loving Husband of Frances M. nee Miceli.  Beloved Father of Peter (Mary) Bielat, Anne (Reinhold) Dobbertin and the late Christine (Tom) Hagey.  Cherished Grandfather of Thomas (Kristina) Hagey, Alex (Ariel) Hagey, Jennifer Bielat, Danielle (Andrew) Weissmann, Reinhold (Mechi) Dobbertin, and Great Grandfather of Leo Hagey and Wes Hagey.  Lying in state Monday April 14, 2025 at St. Juliana Church 7201 N. Oketo Ave. Chicago, IL 60631 from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral mass 11:30AM.  Interment St. Michael Archangel Cemetery.
