Millard Armstrong, age 98, of Malvern passed away Friday March 8, 2024, at his home. He was born in Rolla, the son of Daniel and Edna Harkins Armstrong. Millard was a WWII U.S. Navy Seabees Veteran, retired from Reynolds from the chemist lab. He was currently the oldest member of Second Baptist Church where he was a faithful member, served as usher, and was a part of the M&Ms group. Millard was also the oldest member of Rockport Masonic Lodge having been a member for 75 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 67 years, Thelma Armstrong, son Mark Armstrong, and sister Marcile Owen.
Survivors are his daughter, Dana Gray (husband Mike), grandchildren, Joshua Gray and Amanda Gray all of Malvern, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church 210 W. Mill St. Malvern, or your favorite charity of your choice.
