Final Salute

Michael Glenn Wannamaker, 64, of St. Matthews, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Mr. Wannamaker was born in Wichita Falls, TX.  He was the son of the late Billie Glenn Wannamaker and the late Alice Lachowsky. He served six years in the United States Navy Seabees. While serving in the Navy he received the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and received second award for expert M16 Rifleman. Michael was a self-employed electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia Wannamaker and a brother, Wesley Wannamaker.

Survivors include sons, Matthew Wannamaker (Alexandria) of St. Matthews, R. D. Wannamaker of Colorado; sister, Cindy Bozard of St. Matthews; stepdaughter, Bret Butler (Adam) of St. Matthews, and a number of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
