Final Salute

Michael E. McNally, 60, of Leeds passed away March 31, 2023. Born July 7,1962 in Islip, NY, he is the son of Joe and Mary (Cassidy) Taggart (predeceased).

Michael was a graduate of Germantown Central Schools. He served Honorably as a United States Navy “Seabee” for 11 years, where he received the Good Conduct Medal and was a rifle and pistol sharpshooter. After naval service, Michael lived on the west coast and then returned to Columbia County where he worked for Saulpaugh Farm and Feeds. After farming, he worked for COARC Mellenville in facilities maintenance. Michael loved to work, and relax, he loved to fish. He was a faithful member of Light House Church in Athens.

Michael is survived by his wife Mary (Critelli) McNally, stepdaughters Jennifer (Tony) DMarco and Naomi Greene, grandsons Dylan and Darrian, nephews Justin (Mel) Critelli, Christopher (Daria) Doring,, and Shane McNally, niece Kayla Critelli and siblings, twin brother Frank and brother Joe (Lisa) McNally.

Memorial visitation at the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home will be Thursday, April 6, from 4:00-6:30pm, with funeral prayers at 6:30pm.
