Maurice “Van” VanCleave died peacefully, May 22, 2021, aged 94, in St. Petersburg FL, surrounded by family. He formerly lived in Sarasota FL, Lima OH, Elwood IN, Detroit MI, and Huntingdon TN where he was born and raised. He served as a Seabee in the Navy on Okinawa during World War II. He retired in 1985 as a division president after 37 years with Ex-Cell-O Corp.
He is survived by Jane, his wife of 72 years; sister Patricia Kight; sons Dale, Ted, and Gary; daughters-in-law Christine and Karen; and grandsons Mark and Luke.
