Final Salute

Matthew Thomas MacDonald of Troy New York, aged 61, passed into God’s loving hands on 28 January 2023. Matt was the son of Thomas James MacDonald and Joan Elizabeth Wheeler MacDonald and the devoted father of Matthew Thomas MacDonald II. Matt was the loving husband of Denise Butler and the late Julie MacDonald and the cherished partner of Lizbeth Balladares. He was so pleased and proud of his grandchildren Olivia Noel and Jacob Matthew Lee MacDonald. A Navy SEABEE, lifelong biker and long haul trucker, Matt was a loyal brother, coffee addict and a lover of Christian and military history. He was honest, hard-working, easy to befriend and impossible to intimidate.
