Luther William Beam, celebrated his 98 birthday a month before embracing eternal rest on December 12, 2024 of Kempton, PA for the past 5 years, formerly a long-time resident of Malvern, PA. Beloved husband of the late Norma Slider Beam and a long-time companion Lorraine Leighty. Luther was born on November 10, 1926 in Paoli, PA to the late Absolum Beam and Florence Weir Beam. He was a veteran of the US Navy Seabees in Okinawa during W.W. II. Luther was a long-time employee of PECO where he worked as an Aero-Line Supervisor. He enjoyed Wood working, farming, gardening, raising farm animals, helping other farmers and friends, building, driving and working on farm related equipment, driving a forklift for the local community center.

Father of Karen B. Custer, James L. Beam (Debra), Joyce B. Esser (David) and the late Samuel A. Beam and Donna E. Linehan; brother of the late Alice Bozick, Pearl Griffin, Ruth Myers, George Beam, and Ernest Beam; grandfather of Gregory B. Esser (Zoe), Matthew J. Esser (Anna), Samuel G. Esser (Regina), Kevin W. Beam (Ashley), and the late Bryan Beam (Joan); great grandfather of Vinny, Christian, Bryan, Cooper, Ellie, Murphy, Juliette, Lucas, Myles, and Emmett.
SERVICES:
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Luther’s visitation on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 10am-12 noon at Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home 24 Monument Avenue Malvern, PA 19355, followed by his life celebration service at 12 noon. Interment will be private.
