Final Salute

Mr. Lucas B. “Chuck” Wheeler, age 77 of Nicholson passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Mr. Wheeler was born in Atlanta to the late, Charles G. and Nelda Skelton Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a general contractor and brick mason. Mr. Wheeler was a member of Bethany Methodist Church and a US Navy Seabee’s veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wheeler was also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Wheeler.

Mr. Wheeler is survived by his wife, Iris Bolton Wheeler of Nicholson; sons, Josh Wheeler of Statham and Bryan Wheeler of Jefferson; daughter, Kim Bennett of Nicholson; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 24th at 1:30 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Pastor Veronica Wiley officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 AM till 1:30 PM.
