Louis ‘Joe’ C. Bice
April 28, 1930 – Aug. 6, 2021

Louis “Joe” C. Bice, 91, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Earnest M. and Caroline (Merritts) Bice. He married Shirley I. Mosel in 1952. She preceded him in death after 51 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Cindy L. Bice; a son, Steven C. and wife, Debra, all of Hollidaysburg; a granddaughter: Heather Beerbower and husband, Anthony; and three great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by siblings: Marion, Katherine Long and Kenneth.

Joe graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1948 and was self-employed as a contractor. He served as Seabee in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a life-member of the NRA.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug 9, 2021, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service with military honors will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery.
