Final Salute

Esteban Montiel, passed away at William Beaumont Army Hospital on Wednesday April 23, 2025, in Ft Bliss, Texas. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years Sandra Montiel. Esteban was raised by his mother Virginia and Father Kiko. He was a proud Veteran who served in the Navy Seabees. “We Build, We Fight!” Survived by wife Sandra Montiel. Daughter Sarah Montiel. Grandchildren Swan, Wolf, and River. Father Kiko. Sisters Ramona and Christina. Best friends Greg Gonzalez and Dan Lucero. His Tios Ramon, Pancha, Polly and Vicky. And Cat, Max. The viewing will be at La Paz on Thursday, May 1, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. “The only problem with your Seabees, is that we don’t have enough of them.”
