OBITUARY
JEFCOAT, Lloyd Age 90, passed away in Burney, CA on February 26, 2005. Lloyd was born July 30, 1914 in Firth, Idaho. He married Nova Myers on October 15, 1940 at the First Baptist Church in Healdsburg, CA and they raised six children in the Santa Rosa area before retiring to Burney in 1976. Lloyd was a Navy veteran, serving in China and the Philippines from 1934-1940 and with the Navy Seabees from 1943-1944 in Virginia. In addition to his wife Nova, he is survived by his children: Joyce Ringler, Alan Jefcoat, Dorothy Loy (husband Dan), Ruth Tugana (husband Chuck), Lindsey Jefcoat and Cheryl Jefcoat; brother Eugene (wife Violet); sister Ruby Way; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration will be held for Lloyd on his birthday, July 30, 2005 at Three Oaks Community Center, 1100 Alamo Drive in Vacaville, CA from 2:00-3:30 pm. For those who wish to do so, the family requests that donations be made in Lloyd’s memory to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
