Mr. Kevin A. Spellman

Date of passing 06/21/2023

Kevin A. Spellman of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2023. He was 67 years old.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Claire Spellman (Clifford). At twenty years old, Kevin enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly completed his service at the US Naval Air Station Sigonella in Sicily, Italy. Later, Kevin graduated from Suffolk University and dedicated much of his time to his home business, Real Estate Appraisals. There he spent decades doing what he did best, helping people to get the most value out of their homes. Throughout his life, Kevin loved nothing more than to support his family. He was at his happiest on the shore, particularly on Martha’s Vineyard. His legacy is left in Edgartown, where his family spends countless summers enjoying the island air. Kevin loved Arnold Palmers and apple crisp. He took the time to get to know every waitress by name, ensuring that his table was the “big tipper table”. His ability to carry a conversation will be remembered by many. Through and through, Kevin fulfilled what he said was his life’s purpose: he provided for his family endlessly.
Beloved husband of Karen Spellman (Goldrich) of Weymouth, Cherished father of Mark Spellman of Boston and Lauren Spellman and her husband Lukas Schenker of Weymouth. Cherished brother-in-law and good friend of Richard C. Goldrich of Johnson City, TN.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, June 28 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
Funeral service and burial ceremony at MA National will be private.
