Kenneth Marvin Kennedy

In loving memory of Kenneth Marvin Kennedy, 76, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on August 6, 1948, in Parker, Colorado, Ken was cherished by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
Ken was a proud Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Navy Seabees, stationed in Nam Phong, Thailand. In his service, he built more than structures-he built a legacy of resilience, loyalty, and quiet strength. As part of a brotherhood known for their grit and craftsmanship, Ken embodied the Seabees’ motto: “With willing hearts and skillful hands, the difficult we do at once, the impossible takes a bit longer.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Hilda Kennedy, and his siblings Bob, Janet, Sherry, and Ronald (“Tiny”). He is survived by his siblings Bev, Ernie, Keith, Mike, and Pat, who continue to cherish his memory.
A devoted father, Ken is survived by his daughters Kimberly (Fred) and Diane (Gary); and grandchildren Tyler, Marissa (Bravery), and Blaine. Later in life, Ken found companionship and love with Betty E Hutzell, and together they blended a family full of warmth and connection. He became a stepfather to Becky (David), Brenda (Karen), and Jason, and a loving grandfather to Alissa (Aaron), Cherydan, Katlin, and Kyle. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who remember him with great admiration and respect.
Ken had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace in camping, hunting, and spending time beneath open skies. His legacy lives on in the steady presence and quiet strength he offered those around him. Ken will be forever remembered by his family as a kind-hearted man who led not with words, but through his unwavering actions and love.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Memorial services will be held at Fort Logan, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. Denver, CO. 80236 on May 20, 2025, at 10:30am.
