Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Allen Roberts

Kenneth “Ken” Allen Roberts, 78, of Littleton, formerly of Gloucester, MA, peacefully passed away after a 2 year battle with Cholangiocarcinoma at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA.

Beloved husband of Vicki A. (Doucette) Roberts. Ken was born on November 1, 1945 in Attleboro, MA. He was the son of the late William George Roberts and the late Dorothy Davis (Kenney) Roberts of North Attleboro, MA.

Ken graduated North Attleboro High School in 1963 and enrolled to serve as a Navy Seabee, serving with the NMCB 4 until 1966. Ken met Vicki while stationed at Port Hueneme, they wed on March 9, 1968 and soon settled in Gloucester, MA to raise their family. Ken worked for Babco Textron/JET in Danvers, MA as an inspector for jet engine parts.

He was an avid gardener that enjoyed classes in horticulture and sharing his knowledge with anyone interested. He liked to root for Boston sports teams and make his own wine with the grapes that he and Vicki grew. A lover of family gatherings, he always loved to catch up with all. Ken enjoyed traveling and trips to Foxwoods. One of his favorite pastimes was sharing stories of his siblings and memorable times with his whole family.

In addition to his wife, Vicki, Ken is survived by his children: Mark Roberts and his wife, Tonya Roberts, of Putnam, CT; Kellie (Roberts) Smith and her husband, Brad Smith of Littleton, MA; and Kim Roberts and her fiancé, Courtney Maszczak of Nashua, NH. He leaves four grandchildren that will miss him dearly; Garrett, Lindsay, Cole and Riley.

He was the brother of the late Ellen (Roberts) Correia and her late husband, Anthonio Correia; the late William Roberts and his wife, Ruth Roberts of North Attleboro, MA; Barbara (Roberts) Hassell and her late husband, Robert Hassell of AZ; Sandra (Roberts) Hammond and her husband, Richard Hammond, of Plainville, MA; the late Dorothy Nowell and her husband, Burt Nowell of FL. Many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ken was laid to rest in his final resting place on October 4, 2024 at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria Cemetery in Westford, MA.
