Final Salute

STONE, Joseph, J., May 13, 2025 Age 84. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Noble) for 56 cherished years. Loving father of Donald (Michelle) Stone, Michael (Michelle) Stone, and Lori Stone. Proud grandfather of Blake, Shane, Brendan, Sean, and Danika. Predeceased by his parents Edmund and Geraldine and his siblings Mary (the late Butch) Martz, Bud (the late Nancy) Stone, and Bill (the late Barbara) Stone. Also survived by his dear brother and sister-in-law Don and Sue Noble, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 4-9pm. Funeral Monday 11am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons (Shelby Twp) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joseph’s honor would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Joe loved watching his kids and grandkids play hockey, baseball, and softball. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends. Joe was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabee Division and will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery with Naval Military Honors.
